Always maintain
the Attack Position; witch is keeping the elbows up,
head over the handlebars and standing. This position
allows you to attack the track and be more aggressive.
The only time you should be sitting down on a bike is
through corners or flat sections that require more
traction. Standing up is essential because it lets the
bike work under you. If you’re sitting down while going
through braking bumps you’re going to get thrown around.
If you’re standing, then only the suspension on your
bike while take the impact and make it smoother for you,
the rider.
When Braking stand up and shift your weight back. Do not
sit down while braking. When Braking is completed and
you’re entering a corner move foreword on the bike and
get into your cornering body position.
